Tree of Life endures
The ‘Tree of Life’, an imposing and powerful object that was the subject of an earlier photo of mine, is still standing strong and vibrant. Here she is on Mother’s Day in May 2023, earning her second name as ‘Mother Tree’.

Seeing with a camera
Photography for me is way of seeing, feeling, living and expressing. It helps me get a sense of place and time, puts me in the here and now. Sometimes in a grounding way (this mountain is big!); often in a surreal way (everything shines in the Light).
It opens my eyes, to see that there is so much more that is often missed in the hurried life.
It touches my heart, when I see all the connections and compositions.
It fires my imagination: within the study of the frozen frame anything is possible.
I can bring me serenity, calmness, connection, excitement. I hope by looking at the pictures you see in it what moves you. At least I hope it brings you a moment of pause during your hectic daily live.
Finally, there often is an activist-purpose: I hope my work makes you realise that we're all entirely connected to the fate of our planet and all diversity of life on it and that I hope you and I will be caring passengers on this wonderful ride through the universe.
