Before breakfast

It’s not the wild (which I love btw). It is a garden, but it feels like more than that. This morning I stepped into my parents garden before breakfast to breathe it the beautiful morning. The sun was also just up. It tasted in between summer and autumn (Indian Summer says my sister). Little fresh but so comfortable.

The colors are changing, a little warmer but not the galore of full autumn. I saw a pretty bird in the chestnut tree knocking on the nuts. It’s autumn, they should be getting ripe. I didn’t get a decent photo of it, so will go there tomorrow morning and try again.

Mickey is the ‘wild’ cat of the family. He is rare to see when my cat and dog are around. But he was sitting there for a moment, like a Lynx in the wild, his natural environment, before I came to disturb it. He rushed off to the back.

The chicken didn’t really know what to make of me, but they always look like that. “Hey, you think he give us food?” I don’t know what they think, but it will be simple. I’m fine with simple today. There is plenty of excitement to go round in the family. Wish my daughters could breathe in some of this tranquility here. It will come.
